Using a pilot project which was created as part of a thesis, was an object-oriented library of basic functions, which promises for future projects an additional increase in productivity. For a first impression we have created a small video, which is the complete simulation of an Aluminium Bar Mill. First, in order to prove the feasibility, was a selected by our staff in operation and accepted system. The task of the student trainees now was the simulation so as to build that software PLC (Siemens S7-315F) could be executed without change. Our video documents the successful projects.

A late change from our customer, which mostly relates to the PLC and the visualization could be fully tested in our offices and shipped to our customers. The changes were recorded easily and without additional onsite support!

The experience of this pilot project have led us to four more orders can be simulated with this technique, only this time following in the right order ... to be continued!
